Note: This feature is available only to inventory assistants.
An inventory assistant is a user with partial access to DolphinRTK's administrative features. To gain this access, the user must login as an inventory assistant. This requires entering an inventory assistant password and—in some configurations—selecting your company site.
Depending on how inventory assistants are configured in your system, logging in as an inventory assistant may grant you access to any or all of the following functions:
Editing a Product's Indexed Data (may be restricted to Editing a Product's Locations)
When you are done performing inventory assistant functions, you can logoff to end your inventory assistant session. This is recommended when you are using a shared workstation, as it prevents non-inventory-assistants from accessing inventory assistant features.
To login as an inventory assistant:
In the main toolbar, click Admin.
The Administrator Login display opens.
In the Password field, enter your inventory assistant password.
If you are required to select your company site, click the appropriate link. This opens a Location menu; select your company site in this menu.
To remain logged in as an inventory assistant until you choose to logoff, select Remain logged in until manually logging out; this retains your inventory assistant session at this workstation even after you close and re-open DolphinRTK, so you don't have to re-login every time you open the application. (If you do not select this option, your inventory assistant session will logoff automatically when you close DolphinRTK.)
Click Login.
The Inventory Assistant User page opens. You are now logged in as an inventory assistant with access to the administrative features granted to you by administrators (see feature list above).
The Inventory Assistant User page shows an [Inventory Assistant Logoff] link in the lower left. Click this link when you are ready to end your inventory assistant session.
